External Data Transmission Policy

Article 1 (Purpose of this Policy)
- This Policy is published by Gran-C Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") under Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act of Japan (rules on transmission to external parties), and explains how information stored on or generated by your device is transmitted to external parties when you use "Japan Compass" (the "Service").
- This Policy applies together with our "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Service". Unless otherwise stated, terms have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy.

Article 3 (Information Transmitted Directly from Your Device)
When you view a screen of the Service, information is transmitted from your device to the following parties. None of these recipients receive your name, address, phone number, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you.

Article 4 (Information Transmitted to External Parties via Our Servers)
The following information is not transmitted directly from your device; it is sent by our servers to external parties. There is room to treat this as outside the scope of the rules on transmission to external parties, but we describe it here for transparency. Please also see Article 10 of the Privacy Policy (provision to third parties located outside Japan).

Article 5 (Information Transmitted When You Take an Action)
The following is transmitted only when you yourself take an action.

This Policy does not apply to how third-party sites handle your information after you follow a link. Please review the privacy policy of each site.
Article 6 (How to Stop These Transmissions)
- Google Analytics: It is not loaded if you select "Decline" on the consent banner. Even after accepting, you can withdraw your consent at any time from My Page > Profile. Nothing is sent after you withdraw.
- Location: Location transmission is separated by purpose and every purpose is disabled by default. You can enable or disable each purpose individually from My Page > Profile.
- Map tiles and image delivery (Article 3, items 2–6): These are required to display the screen and cannot be stopped individually. If you do not wish them to be sent, please refrain from using the relevant feature or screen, or block communication with those domains using your browser settings or an extension.
- Cookies generally: You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may then not work correctly.
Article 7 (Changes to this Policy)
We may change this Policy in response to changes in law or in the Service. We will announce any significant change on the Service.
